ABIA STATE SET’S THE PACE FOR A NEW ERA OF CLUB FOOTBALL MANAGEMENT IN NIGERIA AS KANU NWANKWO STEPS IN

One of Africa’s most gifted player and two time African Footballer of the year Kanu Nwankwo steps in as Chairman of Enyimba International Football Club of Aba. kanu takes over from legendary Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu current first Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation who piloted Enyimba International FC to the Pinnacle of African Football by winning African Champions league titles back to back and several domestic and F.A cup titles.

Chief Felix Anyansi-Agwu is indeed the most outstanding and celebrated Club Football administrator in Nigeria until he gracefully bowed out recently. Again the Abia State government has set the pace for a new era of club Football management in Nigeria by appointing Kanu Nwankwo as Chairman of Enyimba International FC, Kanu will bring his wealth of experience, International exposure and goodwill to bear in taking Enyimba International FC to the next level.

In another development the Abia state government has also contracted the services of veteran coach and Ex-International John Obuh as Chairman of Abia Warriors FC and another Ex-International Emeka Ifejiagwa as sporting director. Other State Governors should emulate His Excellency Alex Otti of Abia State and keep the Ex-Internationals coming. Nigeria domestic Football can only thrive with quality administrators.
